Well for the presentation I found it to be very helpful in feedback, i now know where I want to go in my concepts as well as knowing what I could have done better. My concepts to date were kind of focused on compressions really, but not only compressions but using a piston motion which I used in nearly every concept. So what I am going to do now is take a step back and look at the other aspects as well as compressions. So, I have broken down my concept generation into four sections; Compressions, Respiratory (Airway and Breathing) Defibrillation and Coaching. With my compressions section I want to look at different mechanisms as well as different ways of providing them, getting away from the piston. With respiratory I believe there can be a lot of scope in looking at how i can simulate the head tilt-chin lift manoeuvre as well as providing the rescue breaths. In defibrillation I am still looking into how I can incorporate the AED function. And, finally the coaching area I want to achieve a concept that will talk you through the process of CPR and achieving a training aspect as well.

Underlays

The following pictures are those that I have gathered for underlays so that I can be up to scale and have correct product generations.

This is my Product Design Specification to date, but will be updated throughout the project. It was important to get an early draft so that I could focus and know my requirements for the product generation phase.
